Red or White... What will it be...?

"His Justice will triumph
the mere sound of His name will signal Hope." Matt 12:20-21, The Message

What an amazingly striking picture this scripture paints of Jesus who is Hope to a hurting and dying world today. His Name is so powerful, that the mention of it will restore hope to the hopeless and bring light to the darkest corners of this earth. There is not a name MORE beautiful than His!

Hope is here is our brand new single we released 2 weeks ago, and today we are sharing the video that we made for The Thembalitsha Foundation with the song. Wholehearted partners with the Thembalithsa Foundation. Thembalitsha offers new hope to the poor of South Africa ; through the provision of healthcare, education and training. This video was created to create awareness of Thembalithsa and its work with the people of Grabouw, South Africa, who represents a world waiting for hope.

As the faces and realities of these beautiful people unfold in the video, there's some RED balloons that appear, tagged onto people. These symbolizes the "challenges" that these people have. Be it poverty, disease, broken homes and families, hunger or lack of education. A red balloon is also one of the symbols used on World Aids day. You see these people carrying on with life amidst their challenges.

Later on in the video you'll see a group standing together with WHITE balloons. These symbolizes a brand new start, a new beginning or new hope to the hurting world. This is the Church, followers of Christ who received the mandate to take the hope of Jesus to the world today. We are called to face the RED balloons in the lives of so many, and share with them the NEW beginnings there is in our Saviour Jesus Christ.

We are Jesus' voice to the broken, we are His face to the hurting, we are His feet to the millions that should still hear the gospel, we are His agents of hope and change in the world we face today.

So what will it be, RED or WHITE... Let's be washed white like snow by God and His love and share that with everyone around.

Hope is Here

We hope that you have anticipated this moment as much as we have... our first recorded song since our debut album and we are super excited to share this one with you! Have fun listening to it and be inspired to take the hope we have in Jesus to a hurting and broken world. Here's the lyrics and we'll blog some more about the song in the days to come, so check back!

There’s a song on the lips of the voiceless
A cry from the souls of the lost
There’s a praise on the voices of children
Our king will come for us

There’s a plea in the hearts of the orphans
A prayer from the hurting and lost
There’s  a light in the darkest of nations
Our king will come for us

Hope is here
For the weak and the broken
He’s here
For sinners and thieves
Hope is here
Grace abounding
Hope is here

2012

A new number on the calendar always creates some sense of expectation in the normal human's heart and soul. New beginning, new plans, new ideas and new resolutions come to mind when we exit one year and start the other... So, the question here is, what do those plans, ideas and resolutions look like for the Wholehearted Movement.

Sorry to burst your bubble if you were expecting a "mind-blowing, mega mania, life altering" response, but the plans for 2012 stays the same as 2011... "To inspire a generation of worshippers who live the songs they sing." Worshippers who gather together to meet God, love God, worship God but then go out and love people, change their communities and the world as they put action to the lyrics they scream out every Sunday, or in the car on the stereo.

But, hold on to your seats. We are excited to share that we want to live out this plan with some HUGE ideas that we've put in place for the year... A 2nd album (now we're getting to the mega mania part of 2012), some videos, a "mind-blowing" website and blog and God willing a Wholehearted Generation Conference late this year...

Just to get you  amp'd and inspired, we will upload our new single "Hope is here" tomorrow, and make it available as a free download for the world to listen to... :)

So, let's go and be that generation who takes our songs from the church pews to our streets...

The Last Supper

We are sitting down for our last supper together as a team, after a week of purpose, laughter, impact, challenge, growth, fun, tears and stories we will remember forever.

Such a sense of peace and rest at this moment as we think back about the time we had here.

Had amazing times today at the Every Nation Congregations (Wh @ Hammersmith and Startford and Walkers @ Slough and Kensington).

God rocked up at all the venues touching lives and we even saw 3 people commit to Jesus for the 1st time ever today after the time we had this morning @ Hammersmith... Makes it all worth it. He used us mightily with gifts of prohecy and words of encouragment to the people of these congregations.

Tomorrow am Pierre and Helena will fly out, Charl tomorrow night and James will drive back to Bath... The rest is staying behind for a bit longer.

Thanx for all the prayers, shares and being with us all the way... We will check back later this week with some more feedback from this side and also let u know how the fundraising went for The Village of Hope...

Pray with us for safe travels home and looking fwd to see all our friends and family again!

Lv

We bringing Katy back home...

Katy came out and joined us for the whole day... And we're bringing her back for good...

She'll be back in Sswest in the next week! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every Nation Family

One thing that is so amazing of being part of an Every Nation chruch is that you get to meet like-minded people across the world with the same heart and values...

We are off to Every Nation Hammersmith Congregation in a couple of minutes where we will take the Morning Service there, and then get in the van (literally from the stage to the van) to drive across London (through central London) to be at the Every Nation Stratford Congregation for their 15:30 Service.

We get to share the whole WH production a these 2 services today and we are excited for the great opportunity to do that.

Will send a blog update tonight and keep you posted through the day of interesting things we saw and experienced...

Die Londen Oog!

Ons gaan biki mallemeule ry op die Londen oog!

We wish you a Ferry Christmas!!!

The team getting on the ferry from Tower Bridge to London eye! :)

Helena, Danie and James got left behind...

We are on it, they're left behind, and we didn't discuss where we getting off... Everyone with phones on the train!!!! Ahahhahahahhahaha!

In the middle of the action!!!

You can NEVER outgive God...

Wow, just have to share this quick testimony with you. Hope you've read yesterday's blog about the Storehouse at Vineyard Church, but when we were there, we as a team felt we wanted to bless the Storehouse with some money... We endud up taking from our spending money for our day in London today and gave it as a gift to the Storehouse.

We did it with such joy as we knew the work they do there is so amazing and truly changing lives.

So, after our gig last night, someone came up to us and gave us an envelope. In it was money and they said they want us as a team to use it for our day out in London.

Blown away by how Awesome God is we were so thankful and excited about how He works... AND, Thes best part was...

IT WAS THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT AS WE GAVE AWAY...

We serve an awesome God... Who we can never outgive and who uses us as rivers that he pours into, so we can pour out again...

Pour us out Lord...

96 Decibels in an old Church Building

96 Decibels in an old Church Building

Just woke up in London after a great night's rest... Only have 5min to type someting before our parking time is up and we can get fined...

We arrived in London last night with great excitement for the 3 days we have here... It was amazing to meet up with fellow Every Nation-ers... and be welcomed by our hosts that we are all staying at, of which many are South Africans... Yes, there are thousands of South Africans in London indeed.

Our gig was a total different experience to the other ones so far as we were doing more of  a 'production' and inpsirational event with many stories and information on the Village of Hope... The aim was to raise 4000pounds last night and the Every Nation church invited many people who were not only in church but businessmen, colleagues etc to share the vision and get them onboard... Whether we made the target we don't know yet... but we had s great evening...

Helena also shared two of her "other" songs that we don't normally do in a Wholehearted context but ones that are really encouraging and uplifting songs about the people in her life that needs love and hope... was a great link with the Hope is Here video and Tim and Maz's story.

The Walkers did great at sharing heart about what happens at VOH and we had a great time afterwards meeting people, mingling and making friends... We also met Martin (Snyman)'s Brother... was really cool!

The sound level had to stay below 96Decibels for the night, so everytime the band got passionate and started playing loud, James had a stress attack and had to mix like never before... It was really interesting...

Wolfi of EN Hammersmith and Andrew of EN Stratford are real excited to have us back at their services ons Sunday and said we can go all out in our songs and worship, we are excited and looking fwd to that...

We came back home real tired, straight to bed, but with hearts filled with gratitude to God for the amazing privilege to live for His purposes and through our dreams and desires He's given us... I saw this at the home we are staying in and would like to share it with you... :)

We will send some pics of some of the great sights we are off to see today, check back for updates...

Venue for tonight's gig...

Here's where we will do our event tonight in Hammersmith, London!

Inspired...

Here's a picture of Helena and Tim with Ps. Mick and Lynn from Vineyard Church in Aylesbury that we ministered at last night.

We spend the morning with Ps. Mick and he ministered to the whole team with some words of encouragement and even praying for healing in the team... (Well tell u the testimonies when get home ;)

We were so inpsired to see the "Storehouse" at the church. They've setup a room n their church building to harbour homeless people. We saw a young couple (our age) there with their little baby with some older aged folk taken care of by this church.

Wow, here we are in England, across the world, and people have the exact same needs as back home... Just as broken and devastated by the world.

We were so inspired to see a small local church offer up so much to others in need. The Storehouse was filled to the roof with things provided from food to furniture and clothes and the homeless can come and live their for free and get food.

Last year they had about 20 salvations from the people who lived there and who now have jobs, and are active church members.

Thank you Mick for allowing us to come minister at your church, but in return minister to us and inspire us to a greater extend...

We just love how our King and His Kingdom is about those in need and to see the church worldwide take up the mandate to do that...
