Our church was shocked last night with the sad news that great friend to us all, husband to Michelle and father to Daniel and Alys has tragically passed away... Aidan left a mark on all of our lives and the way he lived and loved was inspiring to so many. He was there from the beginning of Wholehearted to help us start out this movement, available to be used by God as a key player in the 'life' of Wholehearted.
Today we will leave for the UK with remembrance of Aidan's last words to us as a team on Friday night: "Go and have fun!" This trip is nothing less than part of the vast legacy this man has left an we count it an honour to go and do what he's always dreamed for us as a team to do... he sow often said "You guys need to go tour the world... we will make some plans to make that happen."
Aidan, rest in peace with our Heavenly Father... We know you are at the best "party" you could be at, and Michelle, Daniel and Alys, we pray for you as we go today, we will pray for you this week and be sure that the Churches in the UK will too...
